It's certainly possible. I used to love Christina, she was my favourite artist during my youth but it is not easy to be a fan of hers over a lengthy period of time, certainly not if you have supported her from the beginning... So I think a lot of her former fans do hate her, because she never really gave a **** cared about them.

You have a point. But then again, if we use yourself as an example, we can say you are not happy with her the way you used to be, but you are not laughing at her tragic chart run so far, are you? That's my point.
It's like when you're the best on you're class and everyone hate you, you're doing things the right way but everyone is jealous
Except that when you're the best from your class you only need yourself to suceed. A singer needs the public love, not hate, in order to be successful. Hence the way 'Not Myself Tonight' is performing at iTunes.
