um excuse me This Used To Be My Slayground is an epic, cinematic masterpiece. I can't think of another Madonna song that shares its exact sentiments and unique perspective. I treasure it.
Madead's least deserving #1 is either Like A Virgin (its first good incarnation came with the Blond Ambition Tour) or the shameless La Isla Bonita ripoff Who's That Girl.. Ironic because LIB didn't reach #1 but is almost infinitely more remembered today. Robyn's Who's That Girl btw >>>

Hey babes, I was just thinking how ready I am for a new Madonna album. Rebel Heart was still pretty recent, but I think it's been long enough.
Any word on new music from the queen?
Zero word. In some ways the album still fresh but only cause I saw her in March, but yeah it has been quite a while. I really doubt she has started or done anything serious - she's still just chilling and hanging out with her fam post-tour, plus all that she's getting done in Malawi.
I wouldn't expect anything until late next year / 2018 tbh. Then again she might be tempted to get something out before she turns 60.
