The overreaction in here on both side is concerning as if early voting wasn't already happening, Trump running a weak GOTV compared to Hillary (call me when Trump have TWO concerts with two amazing stars), Hillary and Top Dems targeting every swing states they can, and the further polarization of politics which is leading to even Dems becoming more energized out of anger at this incident.

I mean **** if Trump can stage a weak-ass comeback from the sexual assault mess then Hillary who survived endless "scandals" will be even more fine.

I don't think anyone is worried that Trump is going to beat Hillary. The real worry is that this will hurt Dem voter turnout and allow Republicans to keep the Senate majority.

Okay, this is a mess though. The fact that leaks could be coming about Trump's ties to Russia, it seems like the FBI can't hold an investigation without all the details leaking to the public/a fear of it happening.

Did you miss the more energized part? If anything the only thing that shifted that is bad for Dems is Trump's voters being more likely to vote. But in the end the Senate isn't Hillary/Trump.

Dems are all but set to flip Illinois and Wisconsin seats. Indiana is still looking good. That just give us 3 more states to flip which are still somewhat close.

The only thing I see as out of reach because of this is the House but that was already a tricky thing to capture.
