i remember reading up about it a while back ago & i remember seeing how Taeyeon became more closed off like she is now. after the Netizens dragged her for the damn ground for her radio hosting days (yes homegirl had her own radio show that was poppin') & then the whole Baek mess... it broke her down and made her more... quiet and it still makes me sad how ****ing cruel people & even fans can be to them. sure their famous & everywhere but their still ****ing people with emotions. depression is horrible & nobody deserves to go through that, idol or not.

This is one of the main reasons why I don't care to read "reactions" or comments. The netizen-fuelled pressure that adds to the already intense schedules and responsibilities of these idols is ridiculous. Imagine if every one of your actions was under a microscope.

I legit feel like the only way an idol can avoid backlash is by just not doing anything. Like literally just showing up to do your performances and then go into hiding

the L/netizens thing makes me wonder... how come some Koreans are so mean/rude/blunt? especially online. They come from such a polite upbringing but I've seen some insults that I didn't even know existed. You could say most ppl w/ anonymity online act this way but they're on another level. It's like they have no moral compass or sympathy... those fans that break into their faves' houses/rooms or the ones that send hate mail or attempt to kill members of a group that they don't like....
