He is one of the few really genuine and versatile producers in the business right now.
Whether it is his own work like Bang Bang Bang or Uptown Funk, or his work with Amy Winehouse, GaGa or Christina Aguilera among others. The Chainsmokers can only dream to have an inch of the talent Mark Ronson has in his pinkie.
The Chainsmokers have literally no ground to have the attitude and ego they have currently. They have a few hits and a legit smash under their name, but they have yet to prove they are able to have longtivity.
Mark basically witnessed Amy's gift, have seen her being build and broken down, so I am sure that beside he was involved heavily in Joanne recently, he also knows the side of the business where people should be so grounded as Amy was, because it can be hard and life can be short sadly.
Whether you like Joanne, Amy's work with Mark etc. the guy really puts his heart and soul in the projects he does and it takes much more time and energy than the disposable bops The Chainsmokers made.
