"Expectation" and reality are two different things hun.
Objectively speaking, the facts are: The "digital queen" thing refers to singles, because she's a singles artist, remember? OOTB, PRISM still haven't sold 2mil in the US despite massive smash singles. Plus digital sales have become all but dead thanks to the Rise (buy on iTunes) of streaming, which Katy still hasn't established a strong Spotify-listening fanbase. Her YouTube streams are still good tho.
But most people don't come to SYG to talk logic and facts, they just wanna go "She did SUPABOWL so I'm expecting ADOLE numbuz! at least 3mil WW first day or she's OVER, that's what the Kitty Kittens told me?!"
That's... not really how things like this work.
