As someone that is actually successful and has many accolades in real life...I did not have to work twice as hard.

You have to have the critical thinking skills of someone that isn't just a workhorse but a thinker, a doer, a leader, a visionary, an influencer etc.

You all don't get it.

DON"T WORK HARD.
WORK SMART.

You get paid based on the amount of people that can do your job

Anyone can flip burgers, therefore, that's a low income job.

Not everyone save lives.

Working smart will get you further than working hard.

The people that focus so much on hard work are the ones that are resentful and angered by the inevitable pitfalls of life.

You don't always get accolades and achievements when working hard.

You get further by working smart (which IS NOT about working 2x as much/hard as a majority)
Most of those people do not actually get that far and get used and feel entitled and don't reap the benefits.

I have some friends going through that right now.

They thought they'd be further along in life than me...
THEY REALLY THOUGHT.

I wish them well.
