YouTube being irrelevant now. I don't think that was the case when Bad Romance was the most viewed video online like a decade ago (which people still bring up as a notable receipt for whatever reason )

YouTube is still much bigger than Spotify. Spotify is a tiny little itty bitty mouse to YouTube's KatyCat. YouTube is global. Spotify is even more corrupt with its playlist payola and it's confirmed you only need to listen to 30 seconds of a song for it to count as a 'play', whereas YouTube uses much more accurate algorithms to determine real views from fake plays.
