1.4 or 1.5 million+ are amazing sales

Flop depends on the artist! If you go from 1.6m to 624k that's a FLOP imo! But for some artists 624k might be an increase!

If we're talking digitally then 1 million downloads is normally the cutoff for a hit song. Some.mp3 songs go on to sell 1.5 or even 2 million downloads which makes them mega hits. Streaming is probably even more important than downloads these days but people ignore it and stick to downloads
