This might be a better plan. but tbh you could replace "MR" with "A-YO" in your post and it could still happen. There is demand for both of these songs. Obviously more demand for MR, but A-YO isn't just totally flopping. Both can be singles at one point, or dual-release now.

I mean even the writing process when they were talking about how it needed to be as good as Uptown Funk, like, they want this to smash. Both songs have commercial appeal but MR is perfect for this season.
