He basically said Solange should be thankful music blogs that cover rock/indie acts and contemporary music are now writing about R&B, like WTF.
He got dragged for his comment and she got praised, rightfully so.
No, writing about HER. She's not your average mainstream R&B artist. She's the basement indie/R&B artist that needs those music writers to make a living. She tried to make it about race or black culture but that writer was talking about her not Mary J Blige.
