There's currently no huge ballad out right now. She could have filled the void and smashed hard in my opinion. Especially if she performs it at the AMAs.

I predict MR to get the largest boost after Carpool Karaoke. If it doesn't do well, then I'll say it shouldn't be a single

1. Perfect Illusion
2. A-Yo
3. Million reasons
4. Dancin' in circles

I think A-YO is too noisy and uptempo. And if you notice the top10 right now, most songs are kind of "chill", even Closer has a chill sound.
But don't know, something tells me it could be big..

It's pretty clear they wanted this to be a single so she could sing it at the Superbowl. I have faith that A-YO can do well on Top 40. Plus it has the AMAs in a month to give it a boost, and it's already Top 20 on iTunes. Was kinda happy about the no single/promoting the whole album thing but it seems like A-YO is the song they'll go with in promo from now on. Wonder how much Interscope is going to push it on radio...

I think Million Reasons then A-YO made the most sense but so be it. Just wanted Gaga to finally have a hit ballad in her singles discog

Let's take this into account...PI flopped on radio, so I really don't think A-YO will have a quick ascend up the Top 40, so technically, they're probably playing this very smart. With the freeze happening in mid-December and ending mid-January, A-YO is probably going to peak around Super Bowl!
