Can you guys recommend some non-cringeworthy AKB48 songs? I really like Sayonara Crawl, Manatsu no Sounds Good, and UZA. I haven't heard much of their music since UZA came out.

Personally, I would recommend Ude wo Kunde.

It's some random ass track from one of their theatre albums (6th Stage I think, if I'm honest their stage albums are often better than their actual singles.)

It's a cute song (not overwhelmingly and unbearably cute, it's very subtle) and has a slight Latin tinge to it whilst also having some elements of sixties girl groups' outputs. (The melody in particular makes me think this, I'm not too sure why though.)

It also helps that Maeda is basically most of the song.

That part at the end, do you know their songs before? If not then River, Beginner, and Kaze wa Fuiteiru are must-haves.

Ruby from their So Long ! single is fantastic, Bokutachi wa Tatakawanai, Mizu no Naka no Dendouritsu (from Halloween Night), Yasahii Place + Madonna no Sentaku (from Kuchibiru ni Be My Baby), and Kimi wa Melody + Mazariau Mono (from Kimi wa Melody). They're a lot of the more atypical AKB songs.

If you can handle a touch of cheesy then Heart Electric and Halloween Night are great.

Iirc both a-sides are Death Note OSTs, so that's why it's there.

Actually the more I hear the song the more I'm bopping a bit. The final minute is lit.

Between The Cold Wind and Lonely Love, The Vision, and this I'm loving the chill H!P are giving them at the moment. I know the OTT electromess is still there on the other songs but at least there's alternatives.
