she's almost doing the same as ARTPOP's first week & the promo she did for that was 10x bigger (plus it had Top 5 hit single Applause to help),
so the fact that she's pushing almost 200k+ is really impressive considering the fact there was no hit single to help with SPS, only 2-3 effective promo slots which helped the album.

There's nothing to drag over these numbers. Everyone already knew it wasn't going to do BTW numbers. I was honestly expecting around 100k.

When you take the sales decline of the industry into consideration compared to three years ago, these are probably the same numbers as ARTPOP.

I was expectingv130k albums. This is amazing. I'm glad people are warming up to Joanne even without a hit single. It really is an amazing album. All tracks are gems, except maybe Hey Girl.

They're predicting 155K - 165K pure sales. Her pure sales is what got the overall number much higher.

No, because the 190k is with the SPS included. If she sold 190k pure albums, then yes it'd be more impressive than selling 258k in 2013. But right now, this is similar to ARTPOP's commercial success without the hit lead single.
