The album has been receiving a lot of good word of mouth promo. And considering her promo has been so scarce this time around, it's more effective than when she was shoving crap down people's throats even when they clearly didn't like it. Bobby is a ****ing genius

From what I´m reading from twitter (), most are really enjoying Joanne and people are actually promoting the album from their friends
I have a feeling that the 2nd week will not be as horrible as her past albums.
It could be really good - they've been doing a tonne of reporting on her recently and the last album they reviewed was 'The Fame Monster', and they gave that a 7.8. They gave Ronson's last solo album a 6.0, Father John's an 8.8, Josh Hommes' (band) a 7.3. Though they're only on one song on 'Joanne' each, Pitchfork gave Kevin's last album a 9.3 and Beck's a 6.8. Even Purpose (Bloodpop) got a 6.8. So, I know it's not really a good estimate because all musicians could technically fail miserably, but you'd think the sum of these would be pretty positive. But if it ends up being less than 70 they can keep it

Yea not performing PI often was for the best. People cleary don't like the song sadly
Yeah artpop's messy promo did as much harm as good I think, I get that she wants to share all her music but wasting major promo slots on songs like dope and venus.
I'd prefer a little more promo than we have atm but it's not been bad.
The dive bar vids have appeared in YouTube trending videos here a few times and those performances were all excellent. Then she really brought her A game with SNL. She deserves all the success and more, she's worked so hard

I understand what you are saying but there is not much difference between random dope/ Venus non single performances than the MR and Ayo ones lol
