She sold it to amazon for full price. It was amazon's desicion.

Im sure they dont pay her the full normal retail album price. Thanks to Gagas Born this way 99c shenanigans the Billboard retail pricing minimum was set at $3.49 in 2011. So they could have paid her just that amount or anything above it.
A deal has to work for both sides. Amazon is huge promo. Theyre not a charity and Gaga is not the force she was in 2011.
