Honestly, when you take into account that A-YO has a ton of commercials plugging it, Spotify playlist exposure, iTunes Hot Tracks etc, it really isn't doing that great..
MR was doing much better than AYO at the same point (and @ full price) and still is holding up (and destroying it WW) without the gimmicks
im starting to think Million Reasons wouldn't do all that well. I think it would do well on Hot AC/AC but it would do real bad on Top 40/Rhythmic, don't even get me started on spotify. The teens on spotify only like their ariana bops and rap music. A-yo would do better on Top 40/Rhythmic and on Spotify i imagine
30 Lady Gaga - A-YO 0.2041
59 Lady Gaga - A-YO 0.1228
34 Lady Gaga - Million Reasons 0.1912
56 Lady Gaga - Million Reasons 0.1267
yeah this only helps confirm that Million Reasons needs to be the second single. A-YO has a ton of commercials and it currently on a spotify hit playlist yet is only a few spots ahead of Million Reasons.
Gaga wants A-YO so unless they just keep pushing both songs at the same time then they should go with A-YO. Who cares if it flops, she'll do more for the song she wants.
Just Send A-Yo to Top 40/Rhythmic - Million Reasons to HAC/AC and then see which is more stable on itunes then give full support to the one that is bigger I guess
Idk. I just feel like the younger audience would hate million reasons
