A-yo was released 2 days before the album, after the album had already leaked and so on it's really not comparable. I agree that MR is doing better now, but MR has been way more exposed in general. A-yo can easily smash tbh. Everywhere.

Million Reasons was released before A-YO and has been stable ever since its release (even after the pre-order effect). The fact it's doing better pretty much everywhere than a song that is really being pushed left and right really is a sign MR is the obvious choice for single #2.
Even after yesterday, and even after both songs were discounted, MR is still above A-YO (even tho A-YO has a commercial going on).
. I would rather her release Grigio Girls (one of the best songs in the album, THE HELL IT'S BEING TREATED A DELUXE SONG tho?) as the lead single and flop with dignity than release PI and damage her image even further. Either way, I like/love most of the songs, this is actually the first time I listened to an entire album of hers!
