Rewatching episode 6, I'm really getting vibes from Agnes.

Like, though hilarious, her audition was so random, and just lmfao, she did it Perfectly.

Maybe Agnes is actually the butcher, and she (and maybe a lot of the other cult members, whoever they are :jonny) was like, witch-crafted into staying a live for many years, which connects the first supreme... or maybe simply the vampire virus, but I doubt that's the case. Maybe these bitches are alive, by Gaga's character, maybe they all Perfectly auditioned or got the parts easily by witchcraft... maybe Gaga's character is just the ghost, but can craft all sorts of dark magic. Casting these Roanoke people into the real world for, you know, their sacrifices or blood...

maybe I'm just thinking too much. being banned for 10 more days of Joanne's album thread is boring

It's either the writing is sucking a bit or Shelby and Matt are hiding something. Their interaction in the basement before Audrey got attacked was so weird. They talking about horror things happening again like it's nothing. Wtf?

Anyway, the sequence of Lee walking in the hallway with dead Mason appearing behind her and then later Shelby hiding from Lee and sneaking to the basement = one of the most amazing and creepy scenes in AHS for me. I'm still rewatching that part. Angela is an excellent director.

Hidden cameras recording them makes everything much more disturbing.

Agreed. Either that, or they'll assume it's Sidney's trick to scare them and it's in the script that Rory dissapears.

As to why the survivors went back, the only explanations I see are:
- Shelby participated to get Matt back, she even wanted to leave asap
- Matt & Lee maybe felt they had nothing to lose? Lee said she's constantly accused of being a murderer (and wants to prove the world she's not) plus she also lost Flora again. Matt also felt he lost Shelby. Idk, but I hope they'll explain it

It was an amazing episode, Angela did an amazing job at directing
