I don't think many people are expecting this to be a commercial success because they are claiming the album lacks hits to keep it going.
Not having strong promotion? Gurl, ok...
She opened with good numbers but that doesn't make room for gaga to come back. Gaga will continue to struggle to have hits or resonate with pop culture but she does have a decent fanbase in less than 10 years to buy her album first week and possibly see her shows.
If monsters haven't already, they should see a difference when Taylor and Katy comes back out and stomps with hits and album sales and streams and pop culture moments that resonate and also with Adele and Rihanna.
I don't think many are thinking Gaga could come back if she wanted to outside of her fans when so far a good first week sales that isn't even create in comparison to her peers is the only win at the moment.
I do think the Monsters are deserving of this victory battle because it's going to become apparent soon that the war was lost. Katy kats, swifties, navy, hive, adelephants...spare them and let them have this moment
