ARTPOP was predicted to do 350K based on pre-orders, month or two before release. Predictions weeks before releases based on pre-orders are frequently very off (20/20 Experience was predicted 400K, did 950K).

After the first day of release though, it was predicted 240-260K. It ended up doing 258K. So the first day prediction ended up being true.

I think the final #'s for Jopanned will be 140-150K SPS.
