Why are you acting like Samsung still owns 1M copies of ANTI? All the copies were redeemed in 14 hours.

How do you know that the album was delayed because of that? Rihanna was in the studio in January, recording Same Ol' Mistakes.

ANTI still went Platinum without Samsung and it's about to go 2x Platinum in SPS units, ANTI still went #1 on the BB 200 (and the pure sales chart) without the "Samsung copies", without physicals, without iTunes promo (banners etc.).

Why does everyone knock a discount?

The reality is that nobody is really selling albums anymore. The best way to encourage people to buy is to sell them at a lower price. This is not the early 2000s anymore where people will be open to buying an album for $20. If it is not cheaper then people are going to go get it for free.
