Will the promo for Joanne even work in Japan? I'm not sure that Japan will be here for that kind of music. They always loved over the top Gaga even during the ARTPOP era.
Watch her not visit Japan during this era at all or just give some of her most boring performances there.
The performances she did there in December 2013 are the best thing that happened in the ARTPOP era
It does not represent the album at all...it would of been completely deceptive. Whereas certain elements of perfect illusion can be found on other tracks like the raw vocals and guitar driven sound. It relates more to the albums general sound whereas DIC (thankfully) does not.
Million Reasons should have been sent to radio already, it's doing great for a promo single and everyone in the industry is praising it. She needs to show people that the album is different to her previous work if she really wants to appeal to new audiences. PI doesn't do that.
Guys, chill A-YO is not the second single because it has a banner. It came out on Tuesday I believe and banners update on Friday. This is why it's getting promoted now. I bet Gaga is performing both A-YO and MR on SNL.
