There's no way in hell even promotion could help this song. It's not going to hold up until June 8th.

Adam lambert is top 10 thanks to American Idol months after the release of the single.... the video for She wolf brought it out of the 40's in to the top 10. and Telephone was in the 20's until the video was released and it went top 3. promo does help.

But we are talking about Christina here. No matter how much she promotes, her single won't sell. Look at KGB. Oh and She Wolf peaked at a lowly #11.

I could also give you the Pussycat Dolls as examples. They promoted Jai Ho so much in the USA but it still only peaked at #15.

I could go on. But you will see that in the end, I will be correct. Once again.

Anyways, Xtina fans just keep setting themselves up for disaster. "NMT" is just a bland rip off of songs of the last 3 years (particularly GaGa/Britney/Justin). It's not catchy, friendly, or even the slightest bit infectious. I mean, it's about to fall out of the Top 20 in it's first week of release. 10 positions in 2 days. Not trying to hate, but this is just how things are looking. Do you really think this song will get a massive response all of a sudden? It's clear even with Z100 getting paid to ***** it, the general public is not responding to this song. It's still not past even 18 million in total airplay (on ALL formats). You guys can take your #1 on the Taking Off list (), but in the end this will be a bomb.

And ShakTinaOnce_fan, Adam, Shakira, & GaGa's songs were actually good and got great radio/digital response. Comparing "She Wolf"/"Telephone" to this trash is disrespectful. Promo/videos work for good songs. Not just any piece of junk.

True. The day Christina does anything close to the pop perfection of "Telephone", I'll never talk bad again. But since she failed to capture the perfection of "Gimme More"/"SexyBack", we'll be waiting awhile. Hopefully it won't be another 4 years of waiting, just for dog feces like "Not Myself Tonight".

Exactly! The review was very harsh for a song they have rated as 3/5, which is not really all that bad of a rating. The majority of what they had to say was incredibly negative, they were very critical of it. The review really does make the song seem terrible, I agree with this part though

It's a 1/5 actually.

I really had high hopes for her comeback single.
The song has no hook, it's so uncatchy, the line "if you don't like it **** you" is so childish And the whole song is a "Gimme More" wannabe.

If this song is the best she has on the new album, she's screwed.

And "Lift Me Up" would flop so hard as the next single, it's so boring.

She should be happy if she gets 2 top 20 hits and a top 5 album with this era. :/
