First Listen
Diamond heart - GREAT start to the album,, love the lead up to the chorus and repeated phrase of young wild american.
A-yo - only listened to studio version twice before now. its fun, seems like album material not a single imo.
Joanne -

I love the guitar in this. The simplicity of the song is good. The chorus feels like something is missing
John Wayne - I like the concept of the song lyrics. I think I'll grow to like this even more
Dancin In Circles - this sounds so good, an interesting song. Another one that'll be a grower. I like that the chorus comes unexpectedly with the funk downtown part. What is that instrument on the outro I wonder
Perfect Illusion - Oh PI. Sounds like it almost fits with the verses to begin with. The vocals are still too loud on the chorus
Million Reasons -Again only listened a few times before now. It gets better as the song goes on. Already over dramatically singing the chorus by myself
Sinner's Prayer - I listened to the live version once and wasnt feeling it. I can see myself ignoring this for a while and then loving it later on. Its nice but doesn't stand out to me, like A-yo
Come to Mama - omg i didnt expect to like this style! or even expect it from her. I am enjoying the song SO much from the first listen, the trumpet (?) solo + last vocal oo's made it even better. i'm literally shook
Hey Girl - I wish there was a chorus / more of an obvious one if i missed it. I wish there was more of them singing together too

this isn't as brilliant as I wanted it to be, but a nice collab for two artists i love.
Angel Down - the lyrics

I really felt the emotion from this song, its amazing. The bridge's oos reminded me of a christmas song for some reason. They should've continued the song as it began, i didn't enjoy the end as much.
Grigio Girls - now ive read the context behind this song, the lyrics mean much more. I don't like the song that much however.
Just Another Day - a lovely song for the deluxe tracks of the album. This only confirmed I need to buy DELUXE. It's so wonderfully simple so. Love her little shout outs on the song too. I got the sort of heart warming feeling I did from Come to Mama here.
Angel Down - Work Tape Version - If her live version sounds anything like this, then the impact of the emotion of the song just hits harder. I do wish it had been replaced by another new song, but its interesting she chose THIS track to be on the album twice over...
I can't believe I finshed the album already. I really only disliked Grigio Girls, and a little less of A-yo and Angel Down (Work Tape Version)

I can tell I'll be repeating this album for a while. ready to purchase my physical copy tomorrow. I'm back on Just Another Day and checking out the lyrics. It's hard to believe this is an album by her, since its so different. But its good different.
