My theory is you didn't want too many strong people on your team, for fear of being outshined. You wanted flops that would be able to do enough to get safe, and maybe win, in which you would be the best on the team and win.
While the judges and I discuss and rank and argue as I completely ignore them, I want you girls to discuss who you think did the best and worst this week.

I would say it was difficult getting the group together because of time zone issues and the people I only really say or interacted with in the group where allure, nina and cyberella. That isn't to say that the other members weren't active. It's just those were the main ones who I interacted with, due to Allure's experience in the field of marketing. The members who were present at the time (allure, nina and I) agreed it would be best for Allure to take control of the team andso let her create the team's aeshtetic and cruise. For the rest we each agreed upon what to do and that we would PM other members (since our dubtrack and chatzy were not entirely that reliable) of what was happening. And by we, I meant devon because I'm lazy. Some members in the group did have different opinions on the matter but I'd like to think that we made the right choice ( but Idc really, I just wanna get high with my clique) And that everyone's opinion was acknowledged. I know mine was since I offered to do and brought the idea of "cosplay for pay" to the team. In the end, we just decided that devon would do the graphics (but he wasn't touching my entry, I trust no bitch but myself with it) and yeah, I think our teamwork could've been better but fighting with time is a losing battle and I'd like to think we did the best we could.

Ok so this was by FAR the messiest team I've ever been on, there was literally no communications between us, I tried to make everyone come together in a chatzy but it flopped. Satan doesn't even have her PMs turned on so she could only communicate with Harajuku whose on her friends list.
Allure took charges immediately and decided of the theme (Gayming, which I don't think is really good but I didn't have anything better to offer, not that Allure would have listened to me.) without seemingly asking for anyone's opinions, but Harajuku didn't really care until Angel & Allure started fighting which is when he started to actually lead.
My original task was to make the itinerary which is usually something I'm good at but I really couldn't find any ideas, I asked Harajuku if I should do an itinerary with real ports or video games ports but he didn't answer me and just told me to do either the restaurant's menu or the itinerary.
Since Satan had been inactive, I tried working on the menu and I immediately started to get ideas when working on it so I asked Harajuku if I could take Satan's job, and Harajuku said yes, but also said that Satan wouldn't do the itinerary either!!!!!!???? So I just thought **** it, I'm not the team leader anyway.
So I did the menu, didn't do the itinerary, Harajuku said he'll find a solution and I believe and trust in him.

I chose to incorporate two elements into my runway look: Water and Earth.
I chose a different approach, instead of blatantly showing the element, I chose to do the opposite. I chose the lack of the element.. the death.
This dress symbolizes the Reef's (or in specifics, the Great Barrier Reef) and their slow decline into death through the process of bleaching/toxins and pollution which is shown through the bleached white coral chest-piece and as the color fades into darkness.
It shows how something once so vibrant, beautiful, and full of life can turn dull through negligence.
I came up with the entire concept, worked on the tournament with Nina, gave advice to all, made the banner, worked on the intro/outro, gave more support, denied stupid ideas, made bitches mad, caused tantrums, and I was the appointed "leader" for a few days..
Nina and DivaDown did an amazing job on their section. Worked hard.
Wonderlust worked on graphics and cosplay contest. Worked hard.
oberge did her thing.
As far as I know.. At the time that I'm sending this in.. Satan hasn't done anything.
Lack of help made this challenge a bit stressful for Wonderlust and I, but we worked hard and I think the final product is amazing.

So, let me just start off by saying that things started bumpy with my group. It seemed as though Allure decided to take rein of the group though no one really asked her to...but to be honest, I'm not sure if anyone else would step up to the plate so I can't really complain about it.
The thing I can complain about is the fact that no matter what opinion I or other members of my team (from what I've heard) decided to add, Allure would dismiss it. I understand if you don't agree with someone's input but to think as though your opinion is the only opinion that matters doesn't really represent a real leader...
Things did take a turn however, when Harajuku took control. Things ran smoothly, she took our opinions into consideration and things just mellowed out. She also did the most work within the group, taking on a lot of the graphics, so if this group wins by_the_grace_of_god.mp3, Harajuku should snatch the overall win.
In regards to the team:
- I was originally going to do the treasure hunt but instead worked on the party section
- Cyberella worked on the itinerary
- Harajuku worked on the graphics, advertisement & was the true leader
- True Skarlet worked on the tournament section
- Allure worked on the intro/outro & the banner
- Nellie worked on the food section
- I'm not really sure what Diamond added but I do love the good sis!!
Like I said before, it started off meh and ended up a lot better than where it began.

HOW THE GROUP WORK WENT:
I found our team worked efficiently enough considering a lot of us are from very different timezones. Harajuku initially took the lead but then Allure came in pretty quickly, with a great concept to work with, and became the new lead of the entire project. When gaming became our theme I knew it made perfect sense for me to flesh out tournaments as part of “3. Give a full itinerary of the exciting and enticing things to do on your cruise”. I have been to plenty of TCG locals, gaming tournaments in societies, etc… so it was a natural fit for me. I took feedback from Harajuku and Allure as to what games to include in the line-up since I initially was just going to do console and card games. I made an initial draft to show to Allure to make sure he found it to be solid and to the point. Once I was in the clear I then went on to work on my runway.
[POST-SUBMITTING ENTRY] On How The Team Worked:
Since I have submitted, Harajuku and Allure both have become captain now. Harajuku even made some edits to my draft and then I myself made edits to his edit of my draft.

RUNWAY:
For my Elemental Eleganza I am serving the element of water. With this look I wanted it to be an atlantean mermaid princess. My body is painted from head to toe to look just like Princess Ruto from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The mermaid tail dress flows out of the coral reef corset to create that perfect mermaid illusion. I wanted big hair to give this look a bit more volume and a diva quality to it. I also have amethyst earrings (once again Zelda inspired) for a pop of colour to match the purple on the corset and then turquoise pumps to complete the look.

Since Harajuku was in charge of editing, when I saw the final draft, I was shocked that most of my input WASN'T included and I was a little upset.

The music will be the lovely tunes of Elvis Presley, Sonny & Cher, Little Richard & Christina Aguilera's 'Back to Basics' album.
The Games located in this area are: Shuffleboard - Who doesn't love a good old game of shuffleboard? We have late-night tournaments at 5pm where the grand prize is the box set of M*A*S*H! Runner up gets a year supply of Tapioca pudding!!! YUM!
Chess - The classic strategy board game has a twist: you use your medications as the Chess pieces! When your opponent captures one of your pieces, you take your pill! A great way to combine gaming AND taking your medications daily!
Slot Machines - The classic slot machine that has the pull down levers! An instant classic! Some of the themes in the slot machines are 'Golden Girls', 'I Love Lucy', 'Gone With the Wind' & every seniors favorite: 'The Wizard of Oz'!
Backgammon - Back by popular demand and now it's DOUBLES! Two people on each side! This classic board game has a catch: you must remove your bifocals before playing the game AND if you make the incorrect move, you tag your doubles partner in!
Various Card Tables - there is a wide variety of cards games located in the prestigious Golden Ramshackle such as: Uno, Pinochle, Go Fish, Skip-Bo & of course, POKER! All bet money is dealt in the good, old penny with the maximum bet being half dollar coins!
For those mischievous pensioners who prefer to socialize with others their age, there is a late-night bar open until 7pm located in the back called 'Prunes R Us'. They specialize is cocktails made with the delicious fruit... PRUNES!!! You can have ANY cocktail made with the delectable fruit, such as:
Sex In the Nursing Home (Sex on the Beach w/ Prune Juice)
Piña Colostomy Bag (Piña Colada w/ Prune Juice)
Wheelchair (Sidecar w/ Prune Juice)
Dementia (Mind Eraser w/ Prune Juice)
Corpse Reviver (just made with Prune Juice)
***When all our geriatric guests leave the esteemed Golden Ramshackle, they will recieve a package of Werther's Original caramel hard candy to take home to put in their candy dishes for their grandchildren!***
As you can see from what was submitted for our entry and what I actually submitted to Harajuku, a lot was missing. I felt like most of the humor was wiped away from my input in our entry. It is what it is. I tried to get Harajuku to include more of my stuff but she said I included more than anyone else. She was the editor so I guess most of my entry was left on the editing floor. There was no bitterness because communication at least was very quick and I feel like we worked well.
My Runway Look:
For my runway look, I wanted to combine all the elements!!! Starting from the bottom ( ) up, my shoes are high heeled CLOGS! Yes... wooden clogs!!! They will be underneath dress made to resemble grass & roots. The top resembles flames/fire. The wig is very, very long (think Lady Gaga in the "GUY" video and it is made into a lightNing bolt! The umbrella was inspired by a drag race alumni! It is all shades of blue with water droplets hanging off the ends!!! I love this look! All hand drawn btw!!!

Itinerary Holla y bienvenido a un experiencia de la travesía nuez!
That is Puerto Rican for: “Hello and welcome to a new cruising experience.” At Gay 4 Pay Getaway, we value safety both on the hull and in the privacy of your cabins. We're determined to give you the trip of a lifetime around the whole* world. We've dragged up the seas and made your cruising experience bigger, better and more glittery. So start your engine rooms and may the best cruise win!
Menu: Our chef Evita Kirchner is a master chef and a nutritionist that can snatch your waist like Violet Chachki. The standard menu on our cruises includes a Tic Tac for lunch and sheer hatred for Jinkx Monsoon for dinner, but if you think you’ll get hungry, we can throw in another Tic Tac! If you’re more of a fishy queen, we'll give you good oral with our hot tuna casserole for lunch and Chanel's favorite for dinner: kimchi... work dish! Our specialized anorexia menu consists of water and a picture of Darienne Lake, but it’ll cost you extra.
Fruit Bar: Drag star Tangerine brings her own fruit bar on deck if you fancy something sweeter. Choose from old reliables like orange, pineapple, cucumber (or butternut squash for experts). Or you can choose from new exotic tastes like elderberries, jatropha fruit and the more blatant tapeworm melon. Beauty is pain, after all.
Deck & Pool Games: If you want to unwind, jump on deck for a game of shuffleboard with 10-time world champion Dame Rose. If you’d like to get a little wet, hop in the pool for some Capture the Pride Flag or strip water polo.
Sports: Just like you, Gay 4 Pay Getaway doesn't give a crap about sports, but we do love sweaty muscular guys touching each other. So, we invested in our own Pit Crew for your sporting pleasure! Improve your dribbling skills with some basketball or your stroke with a little golf. Don't be messy, be Messi!
Cheraoke: If you’re a dark lady looking for some nighttime fun, I got you babe. Turn back time with MoonChild and honor the Goddess of Pop through karaoke! Only Cher songs are allowed, of course, so get ready to feel alive again. It’s all or nothing, so bang bang, knock them bitches dead.
Puppet Show: MoonChild will be hosting a puppet show on deck, too. Everybody loves puppets, right? Extra special guests include Chanel DiAngelo, DripDrip and Phi Phi O’Hara!
Pixel Dark’s Dark-Sided Classes: Join Pixel Dark for Ouija board how-tos, Dark Magic for Dummies and more! Her humanitarian cooking classes teach crowd-pleasing recipes using blood, skin, bones and other appetizing human ingredients (vegan options available). One thing is for sure--these classes are good enough to kill for. You’ll have one hell of a time!
Gym Classes: If you are in the mood for a good workout, come take an exercise class at our on-board gym! Take a lifting class with Mimi Imfurst, and discover first hand that drag CAN be a contact sport. You can also catch hands with Tatianna herself in her boxing class!
Kidz Camp: If you have kids, don't be put off by the adult-oriented cruise! You can leave your kids at our Kidz Camp below deck until you disembark. Kidz Camp, sponsored by Nike, will teach your children the value of a hard day's work on a groovy assembly line, all free of charge. Keep dipping in the pool and rest assured that your children’s days are full of productivity.
Destinations
At Gay 4 Pay Getaway, it’s all about the build-up, not the climax, but you can choose wherever you want to get your happy ending! Here are our most popular destinations:
Alaska: If you can stand going to one of the coldest places on Earth, then this is your ideal trip! Once a fan favorite, this vacation spot has plummeted in popularity recently. This destination is your best choice if you don’t have a sugar daddy who pays for everything for you. You can visit the 49th state for the low, low price of a borrowed t-shirt!
Ibiza: Ibiza is Spain’s major party city (not that Party City, Phi Phi). If you're more about the freaks than the fish, this may be your perfect destination. You don't have to take a pill to show Pearl (DJ Set) that you’re cool; just go with Gay 4 Pay Getaway!
Puerto Rico: If you’re looking for a shorter cruise, consider visiting Puerto Rico! You’re guaranteed to arrive just after Snatch Game. When you arrive, cheer up with a thick and juicy Puerto Rican package. Our entire Caribbean route is very popular, but be warned of frequent pirate invasions in the area. Completely unrelatedly, Beyoncé owns a nearby island. Bam!
Book now to experience all this and more at Gay 4 Pay Getaway! We hope to expand into Asia in time for Chinese New Year, so you’d better jump on our exclusive brand while it’s growing. From all of us here at Gay 4 Pay Getaway, good night and safe journey. Please sail with us again!

Paragraphs: My group worked synergistically with flat hierarchy, willingness and cohesion. We didn't need a leader to conduct us, we were all hard-working ants. Some of us expended more time and hard work in the challenge than others through. I'm glad to mention MoonChild, Tangerine and I were the highlights of my team. MoonChild was the one coming with the name of the Cruise, she created the Google Drive and made the visuals. Tangerine gave us the Introduction, some cool activities and was there to help everyone who had difficulty. As for me, I was constantly giving tips and ideas in every single matter: I came up with lots of activities, the Destinations section, the closing and helped with organizational issues.
Some of my ideas were scrapped but it was all discussed and I accepted not everyone's going to understand my character. This is a group challenge and I prioritized everyone's common benefit instead of my own ones (too bad you won't know my crazy post-Katya Russian destination tho). But that's OK because I know I'll have time to channel all my thoughts through individual challenges later. With that said, I also pushed other of my ideas and I'm glad my team mates heard them.
Regarding other team mates, Pixel made the video (she was brave enough to record herself) and had her peculiar activity. Kunty contributed with activities and ideas. It was great to work with these people.

Elemental Look Description
I crawled from the ocean floor to get on this runway, henny. I am giving you realness. This look gives you water, but I thought it would be cool to focus on the silver in water, not just the blue. You can see silver in sea foam, waves and reflections off the ocean, so why not show that on the runway?
White body paint would cover the arms and chest, too, not just the neck and head. The dress is meant to be scaly and the silhouette is meant to almost resemble a mermaid. I kept the accessories to a minimum to keep the focus on the gown, make-up and overall effect. The blue lips and nails give it that extra pop without going overboard.
I enjoyed working with my team, and I thought we got along swimmingly. Our entry was collaborative and fun to make. Everyone had a voice in the process. We used individual strengths where we could (like with Pixel's commercial) and expressed our personalities in the written parts.
I made the banner and posters, helped Pixel with the video script, wrote for the itinerary and destinations, and formatted the entry. Tangerine helped a lot in writing and editing the itinerary and destinations. Evita came up with several ideas we incorporated, and she wrote for the entry as well. Pixel made the amazing video, and she and Kunty both contributed to the written parts of the entry.
All in all, the process was a pleasure. We worked efficiently and communicated well. We gave each other constructive feedback, and we were all willing to help each other.

I'm going to do a simple breakdown for you, instead of a paragraph. Top to Bottom:
Moonchild - The creative force of the entire project. Involved in every aspect of the task. Did the posters, contributed to the itinerary and destinations. Everything. 10/10
Tangerine & Pixel - Tangerine was very involved with itinerary and destinations, I believe. She was there with Moonchild brainstorming a lot of stuff most of the time. Pixel made the video, and was involved with the itinerary, I believe. 9/10
Kunty & Evita - I was there to help brainstorm a bit in the beginning. Then once everything started having a direction, I hopped in to help with the itinerary. I wasn't as present as I could have been, but I was still there when needed. My biggest contribution is the Gym Classes. I had more stuff, but it was edited out in the final product. Evita contributed to the destinations and itinerary. I'm not sure how often she was present. 7/10
The other two - Did nothing. I don't even think they ever even bothered to open the Google Doc to see what we were doing. There are probably going to be as surprised as the judges by how amazing our entry is. 0/10
Elemental Look - Air
This look was inspired by the Aurora Borealis, the Northern Lights that dance in the Arctic air at night. The dress is Armani Prive Couture. The lavender color, with the light and airy tiers make this a perfect dress to represent air. The hair is a beautiful mix of colors in the Aurora Borealis, and the braid is a nod to Avatar, since that's a popular hairstyle on the show. The makeup is ice inspired, because the Aurora Borealis is located in one of the coldest parts of the world, so I imagined myself soaring through the air and the frost delicately collecting on my face. I decided to go with completely blacked out accessories (cape necklace, Chanel cuff, oversized ring, stilettos) to represent the night sky that the lights dance through.

I'm such a fiery person, a complete fireball of energy and I'm really hot so of course I had to go with fire as my element. Them soggy ass hoes ain't comin for me. First I walk out in my plain jumpsuit (it's baggy for realism, gotta fit that big skirt somewhere) but as I start strutting I dump the belt and eyepatch and spin around, opening the wrap suit which transforms into my beautiful flame skirt and a lil top underneath #ruveal. I'm serving Katniss in the Hunger Games right now only played by a slightly less insufferable actor.
Unfortunately I misunderstood the term 'naked flame' and as a result I'm all horrifyingly burnt and crispy. My mom always told me to use sunscreen. Oh well, I'm still serving body no matter how toasty I am. (The third image is a stomach btw). I have some ash to apply on the skin to sell the fantasy even more and also to blow at the judges as revenge for ranking me safe last week. Now I need to go and find a nice freezer to sit in.
I was the team's muse. Without me they would not have been able to write anything.
...
Really though, I was mainly involved in the itinerary. I tried a draft banner but I'm no graphics girl. Moonchild did graphics and Pixel did the video, and they asked for feedback from us but otherwise it was all them. Since other girls had the other sections locked down I stepped up to the pitch at the important one and I was very involved in the writing and planning for it. We worked well together and bounced ideas off of one another for the most part. I didn't assign parts as much as I put up a list and let people choose what they wanted to write about. I wrote the introduction, closing remarks and several sections of activities (fruit bar, kidz club, games) and helped edit, write and brainstorm for the other girls parts. I did a lot of editing down for the activities and destinations to make things more concise and faster to the punchline and Moonchild helped a lot with that. We also threw in a lot of jokes in our final edits, just small comments like the t-shirt jibe for Alaska.
Moonchild and Pixel also put some time into 1 or 2 activities and Kunty and Evita did several of their own. The former two already did a lot so I was lenient with how much they needed to do. Evita also did the destinations draft. Evita had a lot of ideas and though we didn't use all of them, she had a couple of really good ones that just needed to be tightened up. The Alaska section for example. I was impressed. There were a lot of good ideas in all of the sections but they were buried under a lot of text and less-good ideas so we had change parts, bring out the good and add to them. It was all No T and we set egos aside and agreed to just not let our feelings get hurt. I welcomed criticism of my own parts too. The team dynamic was great and I'm proud of the final product.

I took a more literal approach for the challenge - in the form of a fire dancer - however, it is still more toned down than last week's entry, where I can admit it became a clusterfuck of different ideas that just didn't work overall. I decided I needed a more focused image, rather than a general idea of a few different ones, so thus the fire dancer was born.

Challenge paragraph
So, I'm going to start off by saying my team was lovely. We got along well and most of us contributed our fair share to the project. MoonChild was quick to make a Google Doc for the team, which was a major player in our ability to communicate and work efficiently. The team was also eager to help each other and give each other feedback. I particularly remember Tangerine offering assistance for any writing help we may have needed, which I really appreciated.
I made the commercial for our cruise line. I received great feedback, particularly from MoonChild, who made sure to express her thoughts in a respectful way. I also came up with my own ideas for my part of the itinerary, and I offered my own feedback to my teammates' work, such as the banners and posters.
MoonChild made a banner and posters for our cruise. Tangerine organized the itinerary, and most of us (including Kunty and Evita) helped with the itinerary and destinations. Unfortunately, I didn't really see much of Eve and Gigi (with Gigi not even checking in...)
