I expected acclaim too, like not mad acclaim like lemonade or something but acclaim. Then again the most negative reviews seem to be more about artpop and her "fake persona" than the music. So I guess I just thought critics were done with dragging her now and was wrong, for some at least.

I was low key hoping for something more like Madonna's "Devil Pray" from the name, but it has a great sound. God there's so much country influence on this album, twangy guitars left, right and centre.

I've seen lots of people LOVE this song - like it's definitely good, perhaps better than "Million Reasons" which I thought was pretty sweet, but it's good! I like it.

It's nice - I can already see this album being perfect in the background while I get stuck into a guy I like.

She'll be dragged whatever it sells unless it did something crazy like 1m+ which it won't. If she does well she'll just be compared to previous albums that did better. Still she's been high up in pre order charts and the leak made the album a trending topic so maybe it will be better than expected.

First listen: "Come to Mama"

Hmm not feeling this so much - again, so country! She's really coming for Taylor's old market since Taylor Nation charged on into the pop sphere and left no room for poor inovative performance artist Lady GaGa.

This song is definitely album filler, even though it does have distinctive sounds. Actually this would be a great song to be performed - it's VERY musical, like I could see it in a production.
