Except AD isn't the only song on the album. She talked about the inspiration for Joanne the song (her aunt), Grigio Girls (her friend with cancer), Million Reasons and so on for the rest of the tracks, so the reviewer is still wrong.

Angel Down has extremely general and anonymous lyrics, there's no way to discern what it's about from listening to it alone. If you have to explain your work for it to have value, then you've failed, and that only further strengthens the reviewers stance. This is a big recurring issue with her!
