I'm not sure about the "1 month after" part, but I take your word for it. And well, it's not like she hasn't done such things already.

But seriously, my point is big names don't have to promote their 1st singles like hell in order to sell, that's pretty much common sense these days. I used Beyoncé and Gaga as examples because they promoted their last albums A LOT. Although I shouldn't have mentioned Gaga, she was a newcomer and she had to do that.

And like someone else said the cheesy Glee songs are already free fallin' so it could be in the top 10 soon again.

Single Ladies had hit written all over it whether Beyonce promoted it or not and she only had 1 month to promote anyways. Didn't Single Ladies come out like tha second week of October and I Am came out the third week of November.

This isn't a hit. She won't have another hit until her next ballad. She's on some Mariah type ish now, ballads or no go. Well that's my opinion at least.

I really think that is the most important factor right now. We know sales will get a boost form the video/performance, but the boost will be short lived if the song is not also supported by radio. So far the updates have been good, hopefully they will remain that way.
