I hope she performs MR. The soon to be single needs exposure. Altough, I'm not sure if I want MR to become successful without a video out because Gaga might think the video is not necessary.
I love how the record feels raw and that the bgvocals are done with other people, instead of being layered by herself, it gives the album a 'live feel.
How I imagine Dancin In Circles went down in the studio
Gaga: so I'm working with beck on this song and it's just like you know I don't want any sorta generic or trendy production on this album so I have acquired mr Beck queen of indie to produce this indie masturbation song for my indie aunty album
*BloodPop sneaks to the computer*
Gaga: ....... wyd
BloodPop: lemme just...... *copy and pastes the rhythm track from Justin Bieber - "Sorry" into DIC*
Gaga: .......... maybe I can let go of my indie cred for one song
One thing that really bothers me is if an artist has a cold and its evident in their songs. I'm so glad Gaga doesn't have an evident cold in any of the songs. Healthy queen (It's probably from all her home cooked meals)
- Hey Girl is growing on me with each listen. I'd kill a chainsmoker for a live performance.
- After listening to the whole album several times I still think Million Reasons is one of the highlights and definitely needs to be the second single, because it represents so well her style change and everyone will be shocked by her vocals, specially outside US where Oscars and National Anthem weren't really that followed.
- I hope she's taking her acting lessons cause don't forget ASIB shooting is right around the corner and she needs to serve talent. Critics will be harsh with her just for being Lady Gaga and she can and hope she will smoke em all. Also later she won't have so much time cause SB is there as well and she has to compose the soundtrack of the movie too.
