Well that's essentially every music publication rn
It's kinda hard to take their reviews seriously if you follow them on social media... they are all kinda crazy and ****ed up in the head then again who's to say that wasn't the case decades ago. I just think the internet makes it worse.
Also. Rise was an Olympic promotional single. We don't judge Rihanna on Toward the Sun or Sledgehammer and Beyoncé on Rise Up so why would we do that for Katy?
Gaga's delimma is weird in the sense that someone like Katy just gets better and better with each album while Gaga either stagnates or declines.
She's just talentless in musical department. She's a good performer and sings amazing live, but when it comes to creating music she's hopeless. All her amazing earlier stuff was done by a great team. Now she's too proud to let others do the work and the outcome is appalling.
