I think of Joanne as a second Born This Way but without the electronic production. Both album have such amazing highs and lyrics.

I'm in the process of trying to decide which of the two is her best work.

I'm so happy I reserved full judgement until I heard the music. I can totally see why so many stans jumped ship since Perfect Illusion's release (generally dull, uninspired looks, no big visual productions, country implications with the Nashville performance, general lack of "Gaga-ness", etc.), but the music is totally amazing so I don't doubt that many will come back.
