No I completely agree. The sound is very 60s/70s/80s but it doesn't sound dated at all. She's also obviously taken influence from artists like the Beatles, Fleetwood mac and Joni Mitchell to name a few. She did a simmilar thing with born this way but it was a lot less ambitious and a smaller period of musical influence.
