This album is why I love Gaga so much, she's capable of so much variety and it just comes naturally from her since she grew up with so much of a variety of influences.
I think she's going to win over a LOT of new fans with this material, mainly when she showcases it on the Superbowl.
I still like PI but I can't believe it was the first single
SO many better options.
One thing that I also think is so cool is that some of these songs are clearly about Joanne, but at the same time, they're autobiographical and about her. Like she said about the title track....it clearly was written about her aunt but she also related it to herself when she was younger. It's cool how introspective and reflective these songs are, she really dug deep.
But I think I'm listening to a very LQ version of this album.
