A lot of people, especially the old Grammy voters, still look at Beyoncé as a pop star very much comparable to Adele (in the sense that they're huge commercially successful popstars but still traditional vocalists). Adele is def Bey's biggest competition in the AOTY category. Not so much in the others, Hello is 100% taking SOTY/ROTY.
