When it came to recording Joanne, however, Gaga didn't give much thought to genre. The album veers from the dance-rock of lead single "Perfect Illusion" to the introspective country songwriting of the title track.
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
Listened to the snippets again and I'm even more slayed by Diamond Heart and Come To Mama.
DA is about stripping isn' it?
"I'll just keep on go-going and this stench (?) is on you. 1, 5, 10, lay a million on me before the end of the song...
*Something about Americans*
Do you have a girlfriend?
I may not be flawless but I gotta a Diamond Heart"
and Come To Mama seems to be about Gaga as a motherly figure, perhaps to the LMs?
"There's enough love to g-g-go around
Come to mama
Tell me who hurt ya"
I just finished my 5th listen..... this album is so ****ing amazing I can't
I usually dislike at least one song on each album after my first listens
but Joanne is really different, I literally LOVE every song on it
My Top 3 so far: Perfect Illusion, Diamond Heart, Dancin' In Circles
