I think this thread is kinda funny because she consistently received varying degrees of hate from 2009-2013... I don't even think people are trying to revise history or anything, it's just that she's viewed in a completely different light now. The music and craft kept improving, and she continued to do what she wanted regardless of public opinion. If she had caved to the demands of the media I feel like her career would be dead right now and she never would've reached this position where she is loved and respected. Interesting to think about tbh.
