So if I'm being 100% honest I don't really like this but that was pretty predictable. I just tried to listen to some of the songs and it's just not clicking. I'm really not feeling her vocals or the arrangements. But I hope her fans enjoy this different side of her.

The best songs on the album so far are Diamond Heart, Dancin' In Circles, Perfect Illusion, Million Reasons and Angel Down. The rest is okay too, but these have the most replay value.

Diamond Heart sounds like something from U2's early albums

Joanne is easily the best song on the album. I thought Joanne > JW > DIC would be the 1, 2, 3 punch of the album but JW's far too electric and that chorus is just nonsense, and the verses of DIC are far stronger than its chorus.

Gaga hasn't been had a solid album like this since the fame monster. Maybe because this is a short 11 song album. Born this way would of been as good but she had too many songs, some which were absolutely horrible like black Jesus and the queen. Granted the highs on born this way were HIGH but the lows were super low.

Joanne is a very solid and experimental album. And it's also very pop and VERY GAGA. Especially diamond heart. That's Gaga at her best. It's a messy, loud, catchy song. Something Gaga does well.

Highlights for me were, diamond heart, john Wayne and dancing in circles.

Lows were come to mama and hey girl only because I expected more from Gaga and an amazing artist like Florence, the song itself was solid.

Angel Down is so boring and church like.

Diamond Heart slays.

The rest, truly remains in the middle, up and down.

This era is truly the definition of a perfect illusion Sometimes I think this album is good then I remember it is too dull. Sometimes I think it's bad then I remember it's got great vocals, lyrics and arrangements. Then I remember most songs lack melody, a hook, something to remember the song.

So, this could have been a masterpiece but she just made art and left the POP out.

This album would have worked so much if it was visual album .... I mean almost every song deserves a video either she releasw 90% of the album and make a videos or just shoot video for every song I dont care I need visual for the songs .....
