I'll admit the one thing I was nervous about was her serving too many Dope esque vocals on this album but thankfully she sounds AMAZING on all of the song The way her voice just SOARS in the chorus of Diamond Heart
I know we shouldnt care about charts anymore, but I legit have no idea what she should release as the 2nd single. Nothing sounds like it will catch on.
Has anyone diven into the lyrics to interpret what they're about?
Diamond Heart sounds like it's about her go go dancing in NY when she was younger and who she was at that time
Joanne is obviously about her late aunt leaving too soon
A bunch of boring songs (Hey Girl, Sinner's Prayers, Joanne, Million Reasons) + her vocals on them and Diamond Heart really bring the album down too much. Dancin' In Circles could have turned out great, but the chorus is just SO underwhelming.
This album is a true masterpiece. Every song serves something different. When I go to choose songs to listen to it's one after another until I realize I've listened to the whole album again
