This album has me SHOOK. It's really not that different from her previous albums, just has more of a country-rock vibe. It still sounds very Gaga to me.
Diamond Heart, John Wayne and Dancin' in Circles are absolutely my favorites, but I literally love every single song.
So for those who have listened, does it seem like Perfect Illusion was chosen because it is the closest to a poppy direction from all the songs?
I think it was chosen because 1) people would assume the song was about Taylor/heartbreak thus making it relatable and 2) thematically, it makes sense as her comeback single since it relates to Gaga's relationship to the public.
I'm so glad HOLiCURE has finally sneaked its DNA in to SLA-YO and snatched a highlight position of the album.
True I can only ever take half a chromosome of MANiCURE, I hate that song I still can't @ Gaga replacing my favourite part of the song in the final version sjlfkasf
