I lost a lil bit of respect (and trust) for Gaga and her team for choosing PI as the lead single.

I would've applauded her more if she had released MR as the lead single. Now that would've been the tea.
I actually think that MR would have been the better choice and that MR is the radio friendly one, not PI.
In fact based on the snippets, PI is my least favourite together with Come To Mama
Idk if this has been suggested before, but could Angel Down be about Amy Winehouse? We know Gaga has cited her as a dear influence and Mark worked with her so closely and the lyrics recall the intense media scrutiny that haunted Amy until (and even after) she died.
hmm...maybe! but i was thinking it would be about her, though...doesn't that make sense? she's saying she was going through tough times and no one realized or helped. could be wrong--i'm sure the lyrics will be ambiguous and about a lot of different things, just like PI and MR!
I'm astounded by MRs longetivity on iTunes. Stabilized in the mid 30s and no signs of plummeting. This must be single 2 and then this Saturday she performs it on SNL. I wouldn't be surprised if we get an adds date soon. This sounds terrible but I hope she doesn't do PI, let's forget that happened and start fresh.
