Red Velvet's M/Vs are different than Mr. Chu. That is more minimalist/aesthetic than it is that whole slo-mo/quirky/sitting around tables/doing weird things/deadpan up-close face shots/bright/strange outfits shtick that RV does in videos. And even if those things were done by others before them, it has become part of RV's brand/image so of course people will call out videos that look similar. I bet Red Velvet will get mentioned in almost every reaction video.
It's less entertaining when it's my faves.
