The thing is, they sample such a low amount that you can't really get a consistent perspective. Isn't it around 2,000 people? Like seriously, there are millions voting.
These polls also don't really get a representative sample. They generally don't represent the Hispanic and African American vote very well, and those two demographics are going to play a huge part in this election.
However, consider this. I reckon a lot more people support Trump than these polls represent. I think a lot of people secretly support him, but don't want to say it publicly. I'm afraid that many are going to secretly vote for Trump in the booth. This fear is only amplified by the fact that the very same happened with Brexit. Polls consistently showed that people were going to vote to stay in the EU, even the betting odds showed massive confidence that we would stay, and then look what happened.
I take all these polls with a grain of salt. Fine, if you believe she's going to win, that's great and I genuinely appreciate your optimism. If you believe the polls, I totally understand and can see why you would. The polls have generally been correct in past elections - but this isn't a normal election. There is an anti-establishment uprising. Many women, particularly independents, who feel ashamed to say they support Trump publicly will vote for him secretly, just know that.
I do really, really worry about this too. I hope my worries are proven wrong, though.

The "secret Trump" voter theory is canceled out by the plethora of "shy" Hillary supporters, who also don't vocalize their support. And as someone has pointed out, trumpkins are anything BUT shy, we've got a good idea of how well he will do Election Day. This won't be a Brexit situation.

It isn't as farfetched as some make it out to be. There was a chart showing that 63% of Texas votes come from Dallas-Austin-Houston-Corpus-El Paso districts, the 5 biggest metropolitan areas in Texas. The other 33% of votes come from the other like 200 counties But if all 5 major counties vote Hil, she has a possibility of flipping Texas. The countless rural cities don't matter much.
im sure there are plenty of people who are more ashamed of supporting Trump than they are ashamed to support Hillary tho.

That's nothing more than a conspiracy and I prefer to view things objectively. There isn't going to suddenly be a group of 10 million people voting for Trump Election Day who never voiced their support for him before. It'd be a few thousand at most.

Just like Trump is NOT winning Pennyslvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, etc. Every four years, pundits/polls overstate the competitiveness of certain states.
Who knows maybe an even worse leak happens in a couple weeks that Trump can't recover in time.

90%. I have a feeling Trump is going to pick up Ohio, Iowa & possibly Nevada but whilst she still holds Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Virginia & Michigan a Trump victory is very unlikely.

So I was a trump supporter but after taking poli Sci classes (my major) and these recent events i'll be casting my vote for Hillary.

I am from Wisconsin. I voted for Clinton last week since we could vote early here. Hopefully she will win. I just feel bad for good conservative people. My in laws are conservative, but they are hard working and good people. They are just lack of education and watch Fox news too much.
