Sorry but this is a terrible excuse to be uninformed. I get what you're saying and I agree that's the reason, but people who choose not to educate themselves on the issues, etc are only hurting themselves and their families futures.
Imagine how different our world would be today if in 2000 people chose to educate themselves on the issues instead of voting for someone they'd like to have a beer with.
It's just not something you should willfully choose to ignore, no matter how busy your life is.
