Wait, you no longer stan for Nicki???
I've honestly made my peace. I stanned from 09-Feb15. The Nicki Minaj discography rate was great closure for me.
Nicki could go 10x platinum, have 10 #1 and win 11 grammy's, mature as a person and artist and I still think I've closed the chapter and won't open the book anymore. I wish her well.
I doubt she'd do lower than 150k tbh. If she actually evolves her image, music and persona...essentially do what she was supposed to do for the PinkPrint then I could see it working for her.
Do you think she's next after Gaga? time will tell but as i mentioned earlier the standards in the hip hop community are not as high as it is from mainstream longevity. Nicki should have no problem clearing 150k much less 100k

Meh when I said mainstream I'm referring to overall.
I get what you are saying though.
For me, ever since 2001-3 when hip hop became more about catchiness and commercial appeal the genre as a whole became bastardized and continues to get worse over the years.
I think many artists of yesteryear in hip hop could not only MAKE MORE MONEY but have more longevity if they were out now (especially with many of them being true artists)
On the contrary, many pop artists getting hits now could have NEVER lasted in past pop movements.
Which was kind of my point...
