I guess it is repetitive (as all songs are really) but I do find it catchy. My favourite part of the song is when she builds up to high notes, but then that's it... The "I'm not a character" part is really good, I adore it. I also agree about the rest of your post, those "**** you"s are too random and seem so forced. I'm not even sure a dance break could have saved it... I'd say the song has ups and downs, but sadly the downs outnumber the good parts.

Being all honest here, I only listen to it because it's Christina. And I wonder if 'Glam' is not what it looks like - By the reviews, it always seemed liked a hot hit waiting to explode. But since the label decided to go for THIS song instead, I'm worried.

I hope not. If we are to go by "Lift Me Up" style, I don't see how a ballad could make the album sell, especially during Summer. "Beautiful" came in December.

The sound for this new era was billed as something that we've never with heard before, but that it certainly not the case with NMT. The sound is very much like a lot of the more successful songs of the past few years, and she is following the current industry trend rather than setting it. I'm interested to hear glam, however. They've certainly talked that song up.

I've always been hesitant with "Glam". A hip-hop "Vogue" is not intriguing to me. "Bionic" sounds interesting, just because of John Hill. His work on "She Wolf" is just, ugh, to die for. I'm hoping he does something as great with Christina.

Yeah, strategically for the Winter season. They did that strategy with "ANOM"/"Hurt", and it egged them in the face when "Hurt" didn't do much. If they do a ballad, I don't want it until 3rd or 4th single.

Yeah. And I'm a bit worried since the last few months, more and more mainstream producers have popped into the equation. Seemingly pushing the lesser mainstream producers to the back, especially some saying they didn't know the status of their songs. Only Sia confirmed tracks of hers making the cut.
