Its lack of availability there helps its sales so it compensates. That's no excuse. Plus it's in tidal (where it got 300M streams first week so it's a huge service)
It doesn't though, the people that would have illegally streamed it will just pirate instead.
Tidal has like 1-3m subscribers right? Spotify has over 100m subscribers, it practically has more influence on the charts than itunes.
People who stream aren't gonna pay for music regardless. So if it's not available for streaming they'll just pirate it.
The "streaming exclusivity means higher sales" argument is so stupid Unless your audience is older people like Adele who probably would still buy her album even if it was widely available on all streaming platforms from jump.
This ain't Beyonce & it doesn't fit her at all though.
I know. I think it was a demo for Lemonade? And it's not like Bey always makes the same kind of music anyway. Also if she sang the song the way she sang Start Over or Runnin, she could've made it even better.
