Kanye + Wayne are the defining rap artists of this generation. Pretty much everything in rap right now can be attributed to them. Idek how you could throw Kendrick in that group due to the simple fact that he debuted too late.

theres nothing wrong with mashup. its a great genre actually. but if that's all you get out of kanyes music you werent really trying hard to get something out of it to begin with imo. he's a great storyteller (until recently)

Seems very narrow minded and unable of dissecting musical layers.
It's okay not to like hip hop but to dismount a trailblazing artistic style is ignorant.
That being said, the only genius Taylor Shift has is her ability to manipulate the general public.
