Oh my God! Best episode thus far!
Frances Conroy!

First time seeing her as an actual villain and she was so good at it. And she looked like a true inbred hillbilly. Now I know where the name Polk is coming from... it's simply a conversion from Pork.
Evan Peters made a very believable gay as Edward - the kissing scenes were on top. And his whole appearance was interesting. And his lover was also pretty handsome.
What they did to Denis' character was very gruesome but no way he would have survived any longer. It's good they ended him but still very tragic. There's still the ghost option and I'd be very happy to see him again.:alexa:
Now the whole butcher scenario was pretty much another highlight. It came unexpected from Ambrose to turn his back on his mother but thanks to his action it allowed the Millers to flee just in time when Lee arrived. Great opportunity. I was also praying for Flora which was a first.
Doris Kearns Goodwin did also a phenomenal job. Maybe she should get a real role next season when she's not involved in doing some docu stuff. She made a nice input.
Also may I add... this was the first episode without any leading lady (Jessica Lange & Lady Gaga) and it felt so fresh. I didn't miss Gaga at all. AHS works without that element very well.
And last but not least: Lily Rabe! They way she tells her point of view and letting her emotions out regarding Elias' death and the whole situation revolving around their farm house felt all so natural. She can do docu and outshine almost everyone else who's not part of the docu actors.
