She won huge at the BRITs in February and her Grammys debacle got a lot of attention. Then the tour announcement was huge and it all sold out in minutes. Then SML became a worldwide hit over the summer while her tour is one of the biggest and most talked about of the year. The giant eyes thing is low key iconic. And she has the Grammys coming up.

25 like everyone expected had a normal album cycle after the holidays ended. People pretendin that her concert didn't pull 12 million viewers which is more than Emmys and probably the next Grammys. Or like for weeks from the age of 15 to 80 there werent people looking for her concerts tickets
Outside of the minor Super Bowl controversy, Lemonade had zero impact outside of African American community and young urban "hip" gays/girls demographic.
